Great input everyone! This gives me confidence that we will be at least equally comfortable on a long day. I have been on the open road for about a hundred miles, and it tracked true without much effort. On straight interstate, it is not scary with one hand. Of course, I haven't been in all conditions yet, but my initial impressions are good. My bladder is strong. As a school teacher, I go two 4 hour blocks every day without a restroom. Everyone else's bladder has been the issue, and they can use it now!
To the question above, no, I'm not retired. But, I do have 2.5 months each summer. We don't typically push the miles in the summer quite this much, but next year we are tying our road trip into an Alaskan cruise that leaves from Vancouver. 3 weeks to get there, 10 days of cruise, 3 weeks to get back home. If anyone would like to participate in that thread, please do so (link)
