Long term class B lease

Hello Community.  I am looking for a Class B to lease for six months (more or less).  Is there a website that caters to these types of transactions?  I can only find the plethora of sites dedicated to daily (or weekly) rental.

I know I can post a Marketplace and Craigslist but certainly there is something more organized given the 1000s (maybe 10000s) of RVs sitting in storage yards around the country.

Thank you in advance for any relative or snarky remarks.  Have a great day!

  • I posted a response to this when it was in the community feedback section and now the response is gone. Did it get deleted when moved, did the OP delete and re-post? Anyway, without going through the hassle of re writing the whole response, I would go to a Mom and Pop rental and see if they will cut you a deal. That said, even at $100/day (and you won't get that) you'd still spend $18k in rental fees alone. Your actual price would probably be about $200/day which puts 6 mos at over $30k. You may want to consider just finding a used Class B and buying it and selling it when you're done. I think you'd come out ahead financially.

  • Most people lookin at 6 months or more are going to buy, so no much interest by rental companies. A mom & pop place might give you a deal.

Also, be careful of  geographic location limits. Most places don't expect you to go cross country if you have the rig for 4-7 days. What happens when you break down 1500miles from the rental shop? What if you want to cross into Canada?

Unless there is some issue limiting you from buying (maybe foreigner who isn't able to by and title), there just isn't much reason not to buy.
