1997 Gulf Stream Scenic Cruiser, 34 footer, no slides, 460 with 36k miles. one owner and garage kept when not in use. is in very good condition for its age and absolutely zero water damage. new transmission in the last few thousand miles, banks exhaust system, newer brakes, and good tires. Generac NP-66g with 450 hours.Owner (great guy and as mentioned original owner) will take $10,500 and that includes him taking it to the local rv shop and fixing the front ac (not very cold), leveling jacks (only 2 working) and couple other minor issues. I wouldn't be surprised if it costs him 1500-2000.is this a reasonable price? I think it is, but a buddy of mine wasn't so sure.tks

the owner is 75 years old and its obvious he's been taken advantage of by a few repair shops. header leak equaled Banks, leaking trans equaled new trans, etc..his wife died 3 years ago and the rv was parked. earlier this year he decided it was time to get back on the road and took it to the shop to get it looked over and none of the issues I found were found buy the shop, but a new fridge was installed:)

That seems like a very reasonable price. Non slide models have less value. Just be prepared to put in some money and effort every now and then. It's not a "turn the key and go" sort of thing. But then again, what RV is?Good luck. It looks really nice.

Looks like a very nice, well taken care of, one owner unit. If you like the floor plan I would buy it. Someone mentioned tires are around $4000 and that is not accurate info. Get a quote your self.

Snap it up. Put a couple of grand into getting it where you want it, use it for a couple of years and sell it for what you paid for it.

These were pretty well built coaches in the day.

Some have no need or use for slides. I wanted a 2000 a Foretravel U320 non slide but wife wanted a slide. Happy wife happy life.

Nice looking unit. With him fixing the issues before buying, I think the price is good. For my personal perspective, I would not buy it, no slides.

The additional details somewhat eliminates some of the red flags. The receipts make it even more attractive. I'd offer him $9500 CASH AS IS WHERE IS....and enjoy your new rig....Dennis

No, I didn't say the price is too high, The unit looks nice, Check the dates on the tires, you may get those included.

I'm on an iPad so I can't pull up the link, but the 8361 is a diesel so it price higher than mine.

From what I read the scenic cruiser was the higher end of the Gulf Stream line in 97. NADA does not list my setup as a scenic cruiser, but the model number comes back as a voyager or something like that. Low retailed around $15,000.

I'm not a big fan of NADA and that why I wanted opinions.

It is definitely in very good condition with zero water damage and no evidence of any leaks. I rebuilt a Toyota RV and I am very familiar with water damage.

Appreciate all the help.

I don't think it is a bad deal, but the transmission would make me a bit leery.....Receipts for all this would help me decide. Tires may not be too much to replace....good condition inside and outside no delam or leak issues?

IF IT CHECKS OUT AND HE FIXES WHAT YOU LISTED IT SOUNDS GOOD TO ME. I WOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO BUY IT. I USED TO BUY AND SELL rvS A FEW years ago when I was younger and I looked for RVs like this. I never got hurt, and never took a loss when I sold them. I would say go for it. ,$10,500 is not a lot of money even if turns out a lemon
