If you keep looking you will eventually find what you are looking for at the right price with the right options.
I have a 33' Bounder, no issues other than age related stuff and standard maintenance. Has been great for the last 8 years. I managed to find it at the right price with a lot of extras: dash fans, levelers, window awnings, etc.
I'd look at a lot of floor plans and figure out what might work best for your family, and what the best sleeping arrangements might be. If your kids are small, remember that they grow. I needed to make sure my dinette and couch could sleep a 6' tall person, and I needed to make sure the dogs couldn't climb onto the kitchen counter.
