Looking for a Motorhome for permanent residence

I am looking for an RV to fully live in. My roommate will be joining me in my quest to travel the U.S. This RV will have to be used and fairly cheap in price (5,000 to 12,000) What RV will be best for...

This is POSSIBLE, but you are going to be limited.

My advice would be to seek out a travel trailer.... A used, small one. The smaller the better in fact, especially if you currently have a v6 truck to v8.

A full blown coach (class A or C) you'll be in the $12k range for about a 1993 and under. You may be able to pull off up to a 1997 on a good deal. Remember, these things get bad MPG.

You can get a Toyota like mine for under 10k, and they generally get good mpg.... I'd go with a v6 model 1992+.
