There is a world of difference between trying to keep an RV warm and the lines from freezing when the temps occasionally dip into the upper 20s and when the temperature is in the single digits for weeks on end. In my opinion, there is no RV that is built for the conditions one would face during the winter in the high rockies. By the time you did all the modifications necessary, you would no longer have a viable RV, you would have 350 feet of living space enclosed in a plywood and insulation cocoon. Might just as well buy something that is built for that in the first place, like a mobile home. More living space, better insulation, designed for skirting and a whole lot less expensive.
I had a '96 Pace Arrow in 10 deg. temps one year and I had to drive to fill the propane tank every day. That was a 35' MH. I was also using an electric heater.
