We have cup holders already built in but still found we liked/needed some sort of center box to hold our audio books/music cd's so DW didn't have to get out of seat all the time to change tunes. Also needed something to set the iRV2brake and the TST displays on where we could both see them. So..
Bought a 8"w X 24"l X 12"h decorative "chest" at Hobby Lobby $18 on sale. Also bought a silicon cookie sheet $4 for 2. Putting the chest on the sheet prevents it from sliding during normal driving but still super easy to move around when needed. 2nd sheet on top make for a skid free top as well holding the displays nicely yet allowing access to the storage.
Don't look at me, the DW did it, she's the artsy one.
