Just a suggestion, have several evenings with whoever you find (and I think that you are doing a great thing!!!!!). Go on a few small trips before a large one. You'll want to REALLY know the person well before you are stuck in a small space with them for possibly weeks on end.
I know this MAY not matter either, but it may help to post what type of coach you have for the travels. Somebody may want to know what type of bed they'll be on (or a convert-a-table).
