I wasn't trying to open a ford/chevy debate just trying to see which of the two different chassis I wanted to get with our new MH. I have read about some of the problems with spartan and so I started to look at the freightliner chassis. one problem I came across was spartans steering box and the dangers it could cause. I don't know if anyone has had this problem on the freightliner or not. more than likely they both have the same steering box. I guess I will have to drive both chassis and make
