After haunting RV'ers forums for 13 years now, I can safely say, none of us have any idea which is better. What you should do is settle on a floor plan, then go out and try to find that perfect house.
The chassis differences are relatively minor, the service networks for any of them are fairly mature so you will probably be able to find chassis help on the road easily enough, if you need it. The only chassis issue I found over the years that seems like a total failure on the manufacturer's part is the Parking Brake issue on those gas chassis, name of which I forget. Those with the Rotten Green Switch.
Well, whatever. Just buy the best maintained rig you can find and it'll work for you.
