My view:
If you are convinced you need a Foretravel, you probably should pursue the coach aggressively. You might have to wait a year or two for a similar age/condition FT to pop up, which would seem to be a skewer in your plan.
Does it have the retarder? Isn't that like a $15K option? NADA might not consider that or other options on the coach. My limited experience with NADA is that it is wildly inaccurate - after about 10 years, there is no such thing as an average coach, just an average of prices.
If you are looking at the final piece of what will equip you for the vacation of your lifetime, pay what seems a little more than reasonable, and get out there and enjoy it. Having the time of your life is hard to put a price on, and is certainly not money "wasted."
It apparently is, or is like the coach in the link. I am not a big fan of slides, but I am a big fan of Foretravel. I LOVE that coach - what a wonderful highway home!
