I purchased the bed board below to help out with the comfort of the sofa bed in the 37C. It did improve the comfort of the bed quite a bit. It eliminated the sagging toward the middle when two adults are on the bed and lessened the feeling of the supports. We are able to fold the bed board up (4 sections) and slip it in between the folds of the mattress (3 sections) and leave it there in storage when the bed is not in use. Installation is easy - when the bed is open you just unfold the bed board and slip it between the mattress and the tarp support. We only use the sofa bed occassionally for 2 adults (maybe 2x per year). We have 1 adult child who also uses this bed occassionally. For us it is a good inexpensive fix. The comfort on the bed is better but by no means a bed I would want to sleep on every night. The Vermont Country Store link for the item is included in the thread below.

We have noticed the same sagging sofa bed problem and have been searching for a solution. I just ordered a 30" wide bed board from The Vermont Country Store. The link for more information is below. I am hoping this will solve our sagging problem and that the board will easily store inside when the bed is folded as a sofa. If not I will store the bed board in the skinny space behind the sofa. I will let you know how it works out. For $30 bucks I figured it was worth a try. I have not been able to find anything like this in any local stores and have been searching for several months at places like Bed Bath and Beyond and Linens & Things.

We have discovered an issue with the sofa bed. Most sofa beds have that rather uncomfortable bar through the middle of the bed. Instead of having the bar to support the mattress, ours dips in the middle, horribly. There is no support for the center of the mattress. Whoever sleeps on the sofa bed can't help but roll to the center of the mattress, it is that bad!
Has anyone out there had this problem?
Thanks!!
I'm still trying to fix this same problem...the bed wouldn't be all that bad if it weren't for rolling to the middle... :? :(
