looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

On my 03, it has a single handle for the shower. I have a round knob, instead of a handle. It is interchangeable for a knob or lever and should be able to get it at Lowe’s or HD. Few weeks ago, I took apart the shower controls and found out it is the same as a Delta kitchen sink faucet. After understanding how it works, now I know how to use it correctly.
I had a hard time trying to mix the water volume of the hot and cold mixture. I was trying to use as little water as possible and therefore was only opening the control just a little. For the Delta faucets to work properly, you have to open it ¾ to full for the hot and cold mixture to get an even temperature.
What I did was install a shower ball valve before the showerhead. Now, I fix the flow as I want, wet down, and then turn off the ball valve to conserve water. In other words I take a sailors shower. Works for me........
