We have recently experienced a problem with our 2004 37C rear closet doors. One of the mirrored closet doors in the bedroom has come apart at the tongue and groove joint at the top corner on the hinge side and part of the wood frame has split. Basically these doors are made like picture frames with glass inserted as the picture. We are going to attempt to glue it back together and reinforce the corners with small L brackets. We plan to reinforce all 3 closet doors if this works to prevent this from happening again. Apparently the latches used on these closet doors put too much stress on the door frame or hinges. Last month we had another one of these doors pull the top hinge off the closet wall and we replaced the screws with larger ones.
I can't imagine what Fleetwood would charge to replace one of these doors and I hope I don't have to find out. Please check your doors for signs of stress.
