Re Lodi Truck and RV shop Workhourse knowlege. I had my rig in for a oil change and asked them to investigate a engine miss problem with my 8.1 engine. They agreed there was a problem but said they could not identify the problem with their computers and suggested it must be a transmission problem. In other words, "not a Workhorse problem, go away".
I really wonder why they did not check my plug wires based on what I read in the forum and your note. This all occured at the end of Dec 06, shortly after your visit. Strange strange strange!
