Meme&Ray... without having to dig to deep back in the forum, what does this baffle kit do? I've had some trouble getting the refrig to light on propane, especially after it's been setting in storage for awhile, but once it's lit it works fine. In my case I think it's gunk in the gas valve. I was going to buy a new one, but they want over $230 for one. Dometic's troubleshooting says to soak the gas nozzle in alcohol if you suspect problems with it, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to do the same thing to the gas valve, provided you pull the wirewound solenoid off first.
The baffle kit blocks some of the air flow going into the outside access panel for the refrigerator. Our refrigerator always lights fine on gas. We can even fire it up the night before a trip, get it good and cold and load it up. It is when we are on the road and traveling that the gas check light comes on and then we are unable to re-light it while moving. We can re-light it at a rest stop while standing still but then have it go out again later. The assumption has been that too much air coming through the vented access panel blow the gas burner out. We have not installed the kit yet but it appears to be a pretty simple installation. The parts are all metal and block about two-thirds of the access vents.
This kit will not solve any normal lighting problems that you are having with your refrigerator.
