My plug wires weren't giving me problems, but when I had the Banks Power-Pak installed the mechanic couldn't get the wires off without destroying them. When I went to the Workhorse/Chevy dealer to get a replacement set the techs in the parts area said they have to replace them all the time and recommended getting Hi-temp after market wires. I went eith the Taylor wires from Summit Racing. When I first installed them I had a minor problem. I used the dielectric grease they supply and must have gotten some extra on the inside of the plug wire boots. When I took the rig out for a test it ran great, but then got rougher and rougher. When I crawled under again, I found that four of the plug wires had blown off of the plug tips. Apparently the insulating "socks" on the wires acted as sails. I cleaned the inside of the boots with laquer thinner and reinstalled. No more problems.
