I found RV Skylight on line at www.rvskylight.com that is made out of Lexan(?) that they say you an beat them with a ball bat with no damage. They are a little pricey (17 X 25 AT $103) and comes with a 5 year warranty. Have not order them yet, but thinking about it. We always park under trees and during the Ohio summer storms, the wind throws a lot of tree limbs, tree nuts and hail on top of the RV roof and I always worry about the sky light getting damage.
My skylights have also cracked on my 2007 37C from sitting in the florida sun for about 3 months. Where is a cheap place i can get them an anybody have tips on replacing them?
I also have to replace the mechanics that make the steps come out and in. the shaft bent whne the steps where retracting and i stepped on them before they locked in. Had to pry the whole motor off to get the steps to come out. Anybody know a cheap place to buy the whole motor setup? thank you
