We had some discussions with Workhorse about our plugs and wires when we needed to replace them for the 3rd time even after we had replaced them once with better lifetime quality parts. Workhorse told us that Fleetwood did not allow enough room for proper airflow around the wires and plugs and that overheating was prone to occur and burn the plugs and wires prematurely. Workhorse has an air flow kit that is basically two flexible plastic 2" diameter hoses that attach to the grill area with cable ties and route additional air flow over the plugs and wires. After installation of the air flow kit in Nov 2007 we have been trouble free from misfires and burnt plugs and wires. The Workhorse part number for the kit is W8005026. Ours was installed at the dealer as a warranty repair but the installation looks simple enough for a do it yourself project.
My experience has been exactly the same--several plug wire replacements under warranty followed by installation of the air-flow kit (also under warranty). No more burned plug wires since the air-flow kit was installed.
