I looked through our service records and we replaced our plug wires with AC Delco with life time warranty - part number 88984269 Wire Kit 2.239. You will also want to get the Workhorse air flow kit W8005026 to eliminate any future burnt plugs and wires.

Just wondering, did you replace the plug wires? I was thinking on replacing the plugs and wires after this season and wondering what plug wires some are going with.Rich & Cheri' wrote:
Was having misfires and rough running at high speeds and when accelerating at higher speeds. Checked spark plugs and they were very bad. Gaps were about .065 and tips were eroded. There was evidence of spark jumping to plug collar. Installed new plugs and engine now runs great. Plugs were supposed to be good for 100,000 miles but I only had 37,000 miles.
We had some discussions with Workhorse about our plugs and wires when we needed to replace them for the 3rd time even after we had replaced them once with better lifetime quality parts. Workhorse told us that Fleetwood did not allow enough room for proper airflow around the wires and plugs and that overheating was prone to occur and burn the plugs and wires prematurely. Workhorse has an air flow kit that is basically two flexible plastic 2" diameter hoses that attach to the grill area with cable ties and route additional air flow over the plugs and wires. After installation of the air flow kit in Nov 2007 we have been trouble free from misfires and burnt plugs and wires. The Workhorse part number for the kit is W8005026. Ours was installed at the dealer as a warranty repair but the installation looks simple enough for a do it yourself project.
