looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

The generator switch on the dash of my 2004 Pace Arrow 37C won't start the generator. The switch at the generator works fine. What do I look for and how to repair? Also, the steps to the MH locked down. I will need a new kit to replace a circuit card and the like. If this happens to you, go under the steps and remove the pin that attaches the mechanism to the steps. There is a cotter pin that has to be removed first. Tie the steps up while traveling.
