roinhome, As a tip, I had my dash air checked and serviced at year one. It was working OK, but I was getting a bunch of other work done so I threw the air in too. While in New Mexico at a rest stop, with the dash air running, about the same as your 75-80 degree temp. When we got back on the road, it was freeze out. Really cold air coming out. Talked to a gent about a year later at an RV park and he had had a similiar experience. We attributed it to insufficient air flow through the engine compartment even with the fans running. On year 4 now and no problems at all.
Thanks for the tip. I did find that I had 35 lbs pressure on the low side. Discovered the low pressure valve was ever so slightly leaking. Tightened it up and put in a can of Freon (not bad for 5 years with the slow leak) brought the temp down to 60/65. I too believe it does not have enough air flow when stopped. The air has always worked well. Only turn on generator to run house air to keep passengers and animals cool. The dash air works fine otherwise. I have not had the problem of the roof air not working off the generator as we go down the road. We are leaving Arizona next week headed for the Fleetwood Rally in Wyoming then to my sons in Seattle for the summer.
