Just wondering how everyone's doing? Did everyone have a good summer? We are looking forward to doing some 'fall' camping.
Thought I'd share this...recently we were having trouble with the generator running. As long and the temperature was in the 80s it ran fine, but once it got into the 90s it would run for a little while and then shut off. So we took it to an Onan service center, and after having it completely serviced (oil change / filter / gas line filter / air filter / spark plugs) we still had the problem. Then we had the fuel pump changed...still had the problem. :h They even let it run all day under a load, and it 'never' shut down. So they called us and said that it's running fine. We thought the problem was fixed so we went to the service center to pick up the MH and found the bay to the generator was open. We asked if they had left the generator running? They said 'yes', but it wasn't. So, we went out to the MH and they couldn't believe that it quit. Then after further inspection they found that the fuel line going to the pump was not getting fuel because the hose had a kink in it.:S They cut off the 'kink' and all's well. Check yours if you are having any problems with your generator.
Happy Trails!
