looking for owners of 2004-2005 Pace Arrows

My bedroom slide out is acting. Bring it in the slide out works great but on the way out it jerks several times. I need to get at the slide out motor and gearing under the bed. Has anyone got to this area under the bed? Looking at it, it looks like I need to remove the bed, the wood plywood base and then the bottom of the storage which is covered with carpet. Any help would be welcome, I will start into this project next week.
