I'm trying to replace the struts on a few of the basement doors and the part number that I pulled was Master Lift ML35-80. I cannot find that part sold anywhere. Has anyone replace the struts on their PA? Mine is a '06/36D model.
On a side note, I did pull out both TVs and replaced them with new flat panels. I just LOVE how they turned out!
Thanks,
Karen
Karen,
Go to www.rvpartstore.com on their home page upper right hand corner the search our store, put in ml 35-80. The luggage door struts are $13.21. I have used this parts store for years and always go there first for my Fleetwood parts. While you are there search their site, they buy up a lot of Fleetwood parts from Fleetwood at the end of a model year. On their stie go to Products, then slide over to and click on Featured and you will get about 15 pages of Fleetwood parts.

I'm still looking for the part of the door handle that locks the screen door in place. It has the little lever that latches over the edge of the screen door so the two doors travel together. I had an internal piece break off, and now I can't find a replacement.

Jim, The PN from Fleetwood is 354852, at least it was a year or so ago. Black flat plastic with 3 elongated screw holes and the lever mounted to it. - LobstahExplorerThat's the way ours came, presumably from the factory.
Another mod I'm considering on our 36D is to mount our 37" flat-panel directly under the cabinet that sits over the recliner. That's the cabinet that has our EMS mounted in it, and there is a window underneath. The widtch of the valence is 2" wider than our 37" TV. I can use a ceiling mount to go between the two lights, and use 2 clevis pins to disconnect the "pipe" from the mount and place the TV on the bed when we travel, which is where it goes now.
Jim - Rich___Cheri_ExplorerWhen I see a PA for sale at RV dealers I always check it out for price and any mods. I recently saw a great idea. On the 04 37C there is a dead space above the refrig. Someone had popped out the thin filler piece above the refrig and put in a fold down cabinet door made of cherry using comparable hardware. This gives access to a space 35" wide by 26" deep and 5 1/2" high. The bottom of this space has a structural grid of 3/4" wood. A thin piece of luann plywood can be installed to give a smooth "floor". A number of plastic storage bins can then be used to hold all kinds of "stuff". Just need to install a positive catch to ensure stuff doesn't slide out on sharp turns.
- R2DillonExplorerOn the amber lens, I just went to the local RV shop and found it in a bin. You could also search online.

Jim – I had the same ‘latch’ break. I went to our local dealer & they ordered me one from Fleetwood.
I have an issue that I need to resolve. The amber lens cover for the porch light has faded & is becoming brittle. Yes, we store our MH outside. A few years ago, when this happened, we were able to order ‘just’ the replacement lens. Now, I’m told that they are no longer available & I would have to buy the complete light fixture in order to get the lens cover.
We also have used MH all winter & the main reason we don’t winterize. We’ve made 2 trips in Nov.; 2 in Dec.; 1 in Jan.; 1 in Feb. & have one planned this month. Then, we have to put other travel plans on hold for ‘hopefully’ a very short time while DH recovers from radical prostatectomy (Prostate Cancer). It’s in the early stage & contained within the prostate. The outcome is promising!!
Keep us in your prayers!!
Thanks, I'll certainly give that route a shot!
I'm in the same situation with the lense. I had to replace the bulb a few weeks ago, and found that the lense has started to decay on the very top, right where it would be the hotest, and have the most moisture dripping on it...lol
Seems silly that we'd have to buy the fixture just to get a $.15 lense.
I took a different approach to winterizing this year. I think I posted it elsewhere, but essentially, I drained my fresh water tank, and then disconnected the pump from it. I placed a 38gal clear plastic tote like you see in wally world or lowes in the belly pan to the left of the stairs, where my pump is located. I then ran a piece of hose into the "tub", and put about 10gals of rv antifreeze in the tub. Bypassed the water heater, and then winterized as normal, opening all the taps until they flowed pink.
When that was done, I added about 10gals of water to the tote, and we continue to use it to flush the toilet with. This has the advantage of also pumping antifreeze into the black tank every time we flush, so no worries about freezing up. Each time I replenish the tote, I do it with about a 50/50 mix, and it's held up fine.
Good luck with the recovery!...medicine has made some very significant advancements in this area, and I'm glad it was discovered early!

Jim - rag-ftwExplorerPaul, I think these are the guys that make the handles on our coaches.
They appear to be very friendly with good customer service.
