I admire the DIY attitude and willingness get your hands dirty. I carry a set of tools and have been known to repair or at least rig things up so I can get it home but changing a tire would be almost last on my list of things I would try.
Working in construction I watched crews of 2 tire changers struggle with 22.5 wheels on truck cranes. It is doable but road side service is so cheap and with a self contained your wait will still be in comfort.
