I was amazed at after being so excited doing years of research and finally getting our first MH a few years ago, how both my wife and I had that "what in the world did we just do?" feeling when we left the lot. We loved the unit but had that sort of kicked in the gut panic attack on the way home. It lasted about a week and a good camping trip cured us and we loved it. It will pass. We just picked up our second unit last month and it didn't feel any different than buying a candy bar.
