good to hear that gov't wants to encourage RVing...or is it? :)

  • I liked everything from the kitchen forward. The "hallway" to the bedroom looks a little narrow and the bedroom was nice but still a little crowded to me. I agree about the rear lights. Otherwise, nice rig. I really like the two opposing slides in the living area.
  • My 34' GS Endura was over weight on a 19,500 lbs Kodiak chassis with full fuel and water. Rear axle was over by 500 lbs. The 34' has similar specs to my Kodiak. One feature that should make a big difference is fuel tanks. Having 80 gallon in front of the rear axle should make for better handling and weight distribution.

I also agree - nice rig, but I did hear the commentator state the GVWR is 19,000 lbs. When Chevy was making the Kodiak 5500 and Gulf Stream and Jayco were building a Class C body on the chassis they were crowding the Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) with only a 19,000 GVWR. The later models were increased to 22,000 GVWR.
  • Its confusing why they wouldn't go with slam latches and struts. Such an inexpensive way to look upscale. Lack of large storage is par for the course on these super Cs. I have to say I like the new Senacas better but of course they are more expensive so maybe not fair to compare.
  • burlmart, I agree. It sure looks like a winner for people who want a serious diesel "C" for towing serious stuff. It has a nice seamless half cab-over, offering an optional bed for I think one person. That is a nice option for a family of three. It appears nicely thought out, a "Very" nice truck chassis, and at a competitive price.

Of coarse every rig by every manufacture has something to complain about, right? With just a once-over the video, the only thing I quickly frowned upon was those cheap tacky screw-on-a-flat-surface rear LED tail lights. Something tastefully recessed & gasketed would have looked right. I suppose the plus side is that no water can get past them, but that look just rubs me terribly wrong. Hopefully that is just a quick resolution in what seems to be a first working prototype Super C. Maybe simply selecting another style surface mount LED tail light would do it for me.

    Still...good job Nexus!

They screwed on this x6 for tail lights :(
