If you have a gravity fill outlet, like my coach does, where you can pour water in to your tank without using the pressure hose fill in the wet compartment, all you have to do is just plug the overflow hose.
The vent by the gravity fill is sufficient to vent the water tank and plugging the overflow hose will stop the water from siphoning out or flowing out on right turns.
The gravity fill on my coach is behind a small door and has a screw on cap. When you fill your tank with the pressure water hose, when the tank is full the water will run out of the gravity fill port, which on my coach is right above the pressure fill valve.
This has worked for me for over 5 years and now when I fill my water tank, it stays full.
