If it's a pusher and the sound is coming from the front it's likely not a belt. Sounds more like a brake problem. I have a car that does something similar to that but not that loud. I had it checked and they said it was the brakes, brakes are still good but just noisy at times. Can you hear it from the outside if you stick your head out the window.
