I vented it a bit out of the hose port on the Sturgi-stay. Same thing.
I'm wondering if the guy that filled it could have screwed it up somehow. Maybe I should have mentioned this earlier, but when I went to have it filled the guy didn't know what he was doing. He put an adapter on the fill hose so that it would fit the tank. Apparently he didn't do it right because when he turned the pump on there was liquid propane everywhere. I yelled to him to shut it off.
He went to get his boss. His boss installed the adapter properly, hooked it up to the tank and it seemed to fill properly. When the pump automatically shut off, he vented the hose before unhooking it.
Like I said, it took 22.5 gallons. I don't know how much pressure there should be, but it didn't seem like a lot when I vented it. First some vapor came out, then just hissing. I didn't get a really strong gas smell either.
