For me the LD was perfectly centered. I don't want a slide-I like simplicity and low maintenance. The paint is durable and easy to maintain. Sturdiness and low maintenance are priorities. Being close to the factory for warranty or paid repairs is a big plus to me-the service in there is very good. The LD is a generally trouble free tool for travel. It isn't particularly fashionable even by RV standards. Very good product for it's niche in the market.
