LTV Serenity versus Roadtrek Adventurous

You're trying to compare apples to oranges. One is a b and one is a bplus.
What you give up in space you get back in ability to drive and park. I've had a b (ford falcon) a b plus (trail lite 22 ft) and now a b (winnebago travato). The most important thing, is to decide what's important to YOU, how you will travel and where you will travel. Don't let people's negative comments about either vehicle move your opinion. Look at factors like storage, tank capacity and most importantly how you will use the vehicle and which one comes closest to meeting that need. Good luck!!

I have a LTV free spirit and have had no difficulty getting it serviced across the country. I should add that it's well built and rarely needs service. Are you aware of the Roadtrek forum? Have you considered Pleasureways new Plateau XL which is the same length as the RS but wider with a dry bath.

we have the serenity yr 2007 just been the best we ever had, there tops in quality, handles great, drive it from ohio to arizona almost every year, don,t worry about service they rarly break down and general service can be found for oil filter . handles the mountains with ease, we are two people just traveling from spot to spot, my wife can tell you every cracker barrel from ohio to arizona ,often over night there. with duel wheels you don,t notice the 18teen wheels as much as a single axle. ours has the 5cyc diesel engine 20 mpg is the norm,where the V6 is in the 15mpg range. resell is better than most , yep they cost a bit more but there not junk.

Reading your post,I would have say you are B people. You might think of buying used at first because if you change your mind you won't lose your shirt. If you haven't seen them yet you must watch the Leisure Travel Vans videos on YouTube. Dean is hilarious. They also make a Sprinter B that is high quality if you decide to buy new.

We have a 2005 Westfalia on the Sprinter Chassis and a 2013 Leisure Travel Unity CB. They are both so easy to drive that it really depends on how much room you want. The Westfalia is a B and has less space but is a little more maneuverable in tight parking areas but the Unity has a lot more space and is more comfortable to drive and camp. The difference in length is one is 18.5ft and the other 24.5 where the two vehicles you mention one is 22.5 to 24 ft and the other is 24.5. Not a lot of difference in length but a ton of difference in the cubic space available. I think if I had to choose between the two I would opt for the 24.5 Leisure Travel. We purchased our Leisure Travel in Ohio at Craig Smith RV which is 1100 miles from our home in Cocoa Beach, Florida and have had no issue with getting the few warranty issues handled by local shops and reimbursed by Leisure Travel. They are really quite good to deal with on warranty issues. In general however it has been relatively free of problems.

Thank you very much for your input. I do have a question that you would be in a good position to answer I think. Even though the two motorhomes I am referring to are about the same length, do you think it would be harder for me to park the Serenity in urban areas because it obviously looks like a motorhome whereas the road trek adventurous looks more like a utility van.

Which one is wider.That can make a difference as well as the turning circle of the vehicle--MB chassis tend to have tighter turning circles than Fords.
