lubrication of tow bar
Roadmaster recommends lubricating their towbars with silicon spray only. I can understand all areas of the towbar except the part that fits down on top of the 2 inch ball on the back of the motorhome....

The only thing I would be concerned about with the grease is that it will attract and hold ANY dirt that happens to come along. This is why I don't use grease in areas where dirt can collect. As for my tow bar, I use a good silicone after cleaning the tow bar prior to every season.....
