Lucked into a new handy gadget!!!

My neighbor was having a garage sale and mentioned that he had an Iphone 5S for sale. My wifes phone could use upgrading, so I was interested. He said he would even throw in a "FLIR ONE". I didn't really care about what that even was, as I was interested in just the phone. In the end, the FLIR ONE turned out to be a big deal to me. It is an infrared camera that attaches to the Iphone 5S. It seems to be very accurate and actually has a wide range of uses. Unlike the IR thermometers, it gives you an image of what the heat distribution looks like. Their WEB SITE has some pretty cool ideas of what it can be used for.
Well, I took it on our latest road trip and when we stopped for a break at a rest area, I shot a few images of the tires and radiator:
From the pics you can see it allows spot temperature to be shown (not accurately positioned for the max in these images.)
ALso, I had just shut the engine down and the radiator shows the hot coolant entering from the top left and flowing across the radiator. The cooling looks pretty even, which I hope means I don't have any significant blockage in the engine side of the CAC.
On the tires it shows pretty clearly where the hot part of the tire is and any abnormal conditions would show up. ALso any wheel bearing issues would be apparent.
Anyway, I think it is a pretty cool tool to look for water leaks, heat/cold leaking into/out of the RV, testing AC flow, etc. It's something everybody should have!
