hi we are looking to upgrade from tt to class a diesel can anyone give me an avrage on mpg and how many miles to look out for

We are in a 2012 Dutch Star, 43 foot, tag axle. Last weigh-in was a little over 40,000 pounds (don't have the exact figure in front of me right now). We live fulltime on the road so everything we own is in here. We also tow a 2013 CRV. We are averaging 8.5 mpg, and that includes all the mountain driving out west, etc. Traveled 16 states last year. Now, we are in no hurry and average about 64 mph while on the freeway. Happy travels!!
