OK, tell me more. Engineer from Magnum never mentioned anything about the batteries. As soon as I reported the transistor temps from the remote (90C, 182F) he suggested that was the problem.
I have a battery load tester (at home) that I can use to test the two house batteries. Would a short or some other problem with one of the batteries cause this? The charger comes on, shows 78 amps or so bulk charge, then system goes to Over Temp in about one minute. These two 8D Deka Intimidator AGM's were new in 2011.
