Maintaining stored battery in MH

We have a opportunity to get a spot in the storage yard this winter with a electrical hook up. So the question is should I just hook up a battery maintainer on the 6 six volt batteries? Negative to the negative end on battery and the other to the positive? I would leave this in the compartment.

Or connect the cord to the main 50 amp plug and let the inverter/ converter do the work? Then it would charge all the batteries, chassis and house. Just wondering if leaving the converter running for 6 months is wise. I'm sure the converter will only charge as needed. It's a year old Fleetwood Expedition.

    if you have good smart charger / battery maintainer type converter/charger then you would be fine using shore power cord.

    OR you could disconnect the batteries (front he coach via the battery switch) and use a battery tender or batteryminder to maintain the batteries.

    People who full time in there RV's have their converter running 24/7, 365, so leaving it plugged in would be the best IF your charger is a 3 stage charger and will not overcharge the batteries. Our MH sets beside the house and is plugged in 24/7, 365.

    I have a MinnKota marine charger/maintainer hooked up directly to my RV battery 24/7/365 so as to not leave RV electronics "hot" with 120 v all the time.
