So much will depend on your planned uses and how many your traveling with. Slides..as many love as not-love. One thing for sure, because they add weight to the Gross, it will seriously diminish your carrying capacity, plus, they are prone to troubles. Do a bunch more research before going that way.
No matter what, it will be a big change from your camper and it will be easy to get kinda carried away. Pianotuna was right on the money, unless you have really deep pockets...check into used. The market is going to be coming on hot, now..end of year. Don't be afraid of X-rentals. They are serviced frequently and all the stuff will work, unlike even new off the show-room models.
Itasca is one that comes to mind..they build with aluminum framing not wood..no rot, eh. I'd say that maybe should be your #1 bit of need to know..is it wood or aluminum construction. After that...does it have Thermo glass? winter insulation, etc. You are in the cold winter country.
A generator is ok...not my cup of tea, but for many, it's a must have. But..if you are looking at an on-board genset..that is a huge amount of storage room to loose. you can get a nice Honda or Yamaha that will stow nicely and not rob you of all that space. You can't run an a/c with the smaller Honda/Yamaha tho, unless you get two.
