You'll need to buy a Class C of at least 26 feet long to have a rear bedroom with an RV queen sized bed. If you are intimidated by a rig 26 feet long, don't be. 27 foot rigs drive, corner and park almost the same as 24 footers. If you like camping in primitive areas, a 22-24 footer with suspension mods may be better for you as long as you don't mind having little cabinet/storage space and having to sleep in the overhead, including climbing over your partner and down and up a ladder in the dark without waking your partner or sleeping on a converted dinette bed or jacknife couch.
Our Fleetwood Tioga 26 Q (actually 27 feet bumper to bumper) has a rear bedroom with sideways bed, left side against back wall, access on right and at foot of bed. A few slightly longer floorplans have bed mounted fore and aft with access on both sides,(more convenient) some with a bedroom slide to make room on both sides. Spend some time sitting and pretend camping in various length rigs, get familiar with floorplans and features, don't buy on impulse and get references about dealer after sale service if buying new. Avoid extended warranty, save money in a bank account for future repairs and upgrades on a new rig. Most brands have a range of models and prices. All use the same Ford V-10 Triton drive train, house box quality varies somewhat and a Lazy Daze costs some $10K more than most other brands, LD's don't have slides but generally have better resale value because of sturdier more water damage resistant construction.
