mattress question

Thanks for all the advice and ideas. We are going to do some window shopping in town and see if we can find a sale.

That's the reason we got the Gel Mattress. I sleep with a ceiling fan on year round, so our 1st TempurPedic went out pretty quick. It WAS hot. Our 2nd one was so much better, but this mattress at 1/10th the cost is wonderful.

We put a sleep number mattress in our coach replacing the low quality mattress that came with the coach. Best part of this, is the wife & I are sleeping with perfect support that fits each one of us. Go to a sleep number store & check them out.

We have a sleep number expanded Queen that we used in our S/B home and when we went FTing had it in our fiver then when we upgraded to our MH our sleep number came with us. Will not use another bed I feel its the best money can buy.

It's in my farm house, not my RV but it would easily fit anywhere because it came in a small box and we just unpacked it as it decompressed. It's very comfortable and highly rated.

If it doesn't fit the base of your bed, you can easily cut it to size.

I did some research on the foam spa sensations brand...not so good for full timers from what I read. I am 215 pounds and need a firm mattress for my back.

We bought the RV Queen Bed in a Box (www.bedinabox.com) at the recommendation of people on this forum. We bought the PacBed Original, 11" for more firmness and gel for coolness. Love it!! It comes packed in a box. Remove the old mattress, take the box in and place on the frame. Open the box and carefully remove the shrink wrap and voila! instant bed. Had it 2 years and still love it. Not the cheapest option but has great warranty.

Yes, it will fit thru the door! I would keep your topper and get a new mattress! IMHO

Had one in our last two RVs and have not been disappointed. We got the 8" Spa Sensations Gel Mattress. It comes in a box that is as tall as the mattress is wide and about 10" in diameter. DO NOT OPEN THE BOX until it is in the RV. Open the box and quickly place the mattress on the bed platform and then cut the plastic off of the mattress. Do this first thing in the morning and it's ready to sleep on the NEXT night. If it is cold, the mattress will be hard as a rock, so make sure it is at least 60 degrees, preferably warmer in the bedroom.

Purchased one for our S&B 3 years ago and still LOVE it. (We had a Tempurpedic for 10 years prior to that).
