Um, how do you figure it's a wash? Using your numbers, you get 55% farther on a gallon, so if you paid 60 cents a gallon more for diesel, you are trying to tell us that you would plan to pay $1.10 a gallon for gas??? I wanna know where you are buying your gas.

Where I am, gas is around $3 a gallon right now. If diesel is thus $3.60, that's 20% more expensive. So you are saying that paying 20% more for fuel is going to cost you the same as getting 55% farther on a gallon????

I think you need to reconsider here. Or would you be interested in purchasing some oceanfront property I own in Nevada?
