I wonder what it was on the old Toyota/Nissan pickups. They held the centerline well on the road, but without power steering they were very hard to steer forwards into a tight parking space. Backing, it was all but impossible to straighten the wheel if it was cut over to the stops. Church had Chevy, Ford, Dodge and IHC school buses. Every one was easier to steer at low speeds than my Mitsubishi Mighty Max Pickup.
