Mexico Trip

Hello, I am trying to find out if there is any interest in using truck or train services to get your RV from Canada to Mexico. I am not sure if this service exists (if it does, please let me know) or if it is something that can be set up. A TIP and Mexico insurance have to be purchased for traveling in Mexico, and the actual final border crossing may have to be driven individually, rather than as a train load. Many details would need to be worked out, but if there is interest, I'd be willing to investigate further. Please let me know. There are also quality companies in Mexico who will act as caravan masters for a more detailed exploration if required.

  • It’s called fishing or maybe more accurately, phishing.  Lol

  • I'm not following the purpose of the post. Are you asking if there is a market for RV owners to have their RV shipped from Canada to Mexico? I agree with the other posts in that RV owners buy RV's to have a rolling apartment and all the conveniences of home while they travel. Shipping them sort of mitigates that major point. And why from Canada to Mexico specifically?

  • Applaud the OP for doing some market research and entrepreneurial spirit, but this is the wrong place to ask, really. This forum is basically dead and likely won’t provide any useful information.  But imo it’s counterintuitive to think about “hauling” a personal rv long distances, repeatedly.

  • I think most people get an RV to drive themselves.

If you really don't want to drive, check your local RV dealer. They likely have contacts with the guys who do deliveries. Likely won't be cheap because it's a dead head route (they get to the Mexico border and then have to drive back without a load) but I'm sure it can be done.
