10) The WW2 museum would probably be great but the town itself smells like sewer. The restaurants are nasty unless you spend big bucks and go to somewhere formal. The streets are crowded. People were rude. We went to several sections of town and none were much better. I am sure there are nice places there but I ain't going back to find them.

we're not nightlife, French quarter people and have no desire to go to that part of town, at all. I've always heard about and wanted to see the WWII museum. hopefully that will happen next winter on our way west or next spring on our way home. in which park did you stay in NOLA?
