Have never been to the Keys, but went to New Orleans last year in late March. Its one of those been there done that kind of times. It was to early for tourist season so not filled with people. Did the Pat Obriens thing with the Hurricane (you can keep the glass) to me I was not impressed with the drink. The restaurants were what I expected, over priced and small portions with not much taste. We went out of town to look for good restaurants.
Stayed at Bayou Signet State park. Great place easy drive to the city. Great fish market close by.
