We just got back from FL as well, and experienced the dreaded "love bugs." Yuck, yuck, yuck. Made me want to throw up.
But honestly, how did you sustain $2000 damage? I bought a $6 bottle of tar and bug remover and scrubbed them off. Then when I got home I scrubbed some more and applied a new coat of wax.
What am I missing here?
