Yea I know some have read and or talked to Bubba's cousin BillBob's girlfriend's neighbor's sister's uncle that had tires on his dually that his 12 years old tires never saw a crack in the sidewalls !
Yep ... experienced it myself ... no other middle-folks involved.
My 4X4 pickup has sat parked when not in use in our backyard in the California sun for 18 years. The next to last set of tires on it for somewhere around 12 years were big old LT285 Coopers - you guessed it - no cracks in the Cooper sidewalls - what happened to that Cooper set is what should happen to tires ... their tread wore out. No blowouts or flats in them that whole time, either.
About 2 years ago I put another set of Coopers on the pickup and kindof expect the same experience going forward (UNLESS Coopers now come from Ch**a :E).
Maybe I should have put Coopers on the motorhome when I last changed out it's tires ... instead of Michelin M&S2's. :h
