WASHINGTON—Toyo Tire Holdings of Americas Inc. is recalling 138 Open Country M/T tires, size 40X15.5R22 127Q, manufactured between Oct. 26 and Nov. 1, 2014.
The tires were manufactured with their belts off center, which may lead to tread separation and/or loss of inflation pressure, Toyo told the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
Toyo will start notifying owners in February 2015 and replace the tires free of charge. Meanwhile, owners may contact Toyo’s customer service line at 800-442-8696.
