microlite 2800 blowing white smoke
hi all the onan 2800 in my 94 pleasureway has started blowing white smoke. i havent used it much over the past year..and i will admit i havent exercized it enough...maybe 30 mins every other mon...

If there's debris in the carb. bowl you will have to replace the carb. there is no way to really clean it. If you have to replace the carb. there's one positive, it makes replacing the fuel filter, which is almost impossible to get to otherwise, a lot easier.
Dropping the gen-set is not that hard. I think 5 bolts, gas line, electrical connections, and exhaust.
Normal tools except for a small floor Jack, and a set of Rhino ramps.
Handbasket, who posts here, dropped his 2800 gen-set in his old Roadtrek, and posted about it. Try searching the archives for his posts older than a year ago, or drop him a pm if you have questions.
